Railway along the UNESCO World Heritage route. Enjoy an Alpine switchback ride, taking you from the high, towering glaciers of the mountains down to the swaying palms of Italy. The Bernina Express is the highest railway line across the Alps, linking Northern and Southern Europe in the most spectacular way! First, the Bernina Express coach takes you to Tirano where you will have time for an optional lunch break. Then board the Bernina Express train to St. Moritz. Overnight in St. Moritz.

On an 8-hour rail journey, the world‘s slowest express train takes you across 291 bridges, through 91 tunnels, and across the Oberalp Pass at 2’033 m. Breakfast at the hotel. Today you take a regional train through the Valais, which is well known for its excellent wines, to Montreux. We recommend a visit to Chillon Castle, a moated castle on the shores of Lake Geneva. Overnight in Montreux.

Breakfast at the hotel. Train journey with the new GoldenPass Express to Interlaken. Optionally you can also take the Golden-Pass Panoramic or Belle Époque to Zweisimmenand from there regional trains to Interlaken. You find yourself among alpine forests, bubbling mountain springs, and picturesque mountain villages. Possibility to stop in Gstaad for an optional excursion to Glacier3000. Overnight in Interlaken.
